Sara Morehead

200 RYT

Sara Morehead is an encouraging and energetic longtime teacher. Yoga came into Sara's life early as a child. She remembers doing stretches and sequences at home with Lillia Folan, who had a t.v. show on PBS. Growing up playing lots of sports, doing gymnastics and dancing always kept elements of yoga around and in her life. After the birth of her third child, Sara started attending Hatha and Vinyasa classes regularly at her local gym.  It was then, in 2005, that she was hooked on yoga and began to see many numerous benefits of the practice in her life. Sara is a graduate of Camp Utopia's Yoga Training program and studied under the excellent teaching of Helen Stuchbury. Sara is RYT200 and is registered with Yoga Alliance. In the near future, she is looking forward to starting her 500 RYT training. When Sara is not teaching yoga at The Yoga Bar, at Baylor University, or at WRS Athletic Club, she is a wife to her high school sweetheart Dave. They have four children that help keep her humble, grounded, happy, a little harried, and somewhat hip. Sara loves animals and shares her home with two sloppy, goofy, & love-y yellow labs named Hunter and Scout. During her yoga training, she rescued two short haired tabby cats named Shanti and Rajan to help with an outside critter problem at her home. Sara loves to talk, take long walks, swim, and listen to or play music. She enjoys creating and cooking healthy meals with a bit of Texas "heat" to them. Sara would love to see you in her next yoga class where she will convince you that working hard is "fun", your balance pose will be easier on the "other" side and she will wish… Peace & Blessings to you!
